New Features and Enhancements

Users are notified when a new feature is added to the site. You can see that at the top right hand side of any page by clicking the star icon. This feature is available for all users.

Google Analytics

We will update our users regarding number of visitors from around the world. The listing is not full due to space limitation.


 

Member Notification

Members are immediately notified when other users comment on their blogs. This feature is available at the top right hand side of any page by clicking the star icon. This feature is available only for registered users.

Blog Comments

Blogs page allows users to read comments posted by others and also comment on blogs.

Status Page

User Status page will allow users to instantly post and share their blogs to others. It has photo upload feature that will allow to upload pictures for your blogs from your computer.

Add Blog

Members can utilize the add blog feature to add or edit their blog. They can use the rich text editor to format their blogs, and use the upload feature to upload new picture to their blogs from their computer. They have also the option to upload picture from the picture library.

Edit Profile

Members can utilize the Edit blog profile feature to customize and update their profile page. The upload profile picture feature is used to upload new profile picture from their computer. Blogs that are written by the user that is logged in are listed under different blog categories for easy access by the user.

Christian Prayers

The prayer section is designed to encourage others who are passing through tough times through your prayers. It is very important tool to connect Christians in prayers that is not possible to connect due to many reasons.

Prayers Privacy

We will implement the ability to publish prayers to four levels of security and privacy

  • 1. Only Me: share the prayer only to self
  • 2. Friends: to publish for your friends under Daily Christian Blog community
  • 3. Members: to publish for members of Daily Christian Blog community
  • 4. Public: anybody can see your prayers even not members of Daily Christian Blog

Search Blogs Auto Complete Feature

We have added built-in auto complete feature for the search box

New Design for Blogs

We have redesigned the blogs page with the most simplistic and clean design to allow users to read all blogs in one place without the need to navigate between pages. Members can simply comment, like and share the blogs in the same page while enjoy reading other blogs in this page.

Daily Devotional

We have added Daily Devotional under the calander control on every page except blogs page and home page. Daily Devotional will be updated every day from the word of God that we can use to meditate every day.

Profile page

We have added three more button to your profile page

  • 1. A link to access your own archive of blogs
  • 2. A link to access your own blogs like the blogs page
  • 3. To allow you upload your profile picture

User side Menu

We have updated the web site to give unique experience to register members. The site is configured to allow users to see their own side menu while reading their own blogs. The side menu lists the blogs under the same category. We will provide members to see their own blogs statistics for my recently published, my most viewed and my most commented. We will allow them to add their own devotional

Allow users to search only their own blog and search their own blog archive
